Cars For Sale

Broke...as usual.
My wife and I just found out she's pregnant (again) with our 4th child, so I really need to sell some vehicles to get some money together for the baby. Here's what I have. I really need to get what I'm asking for these, but I'm negotiable to a point. Usually, I'm up for some trading, but unless you have a nice newer minivan (newer aerodynamic body style), I'm unable to do so this time. Make an offer and we can try to work something out. Here's what I have:

93 Ford Escort - 1.9L w/auto tranny. Power steering, brakes, dual power mirrors, rear defrost. AM/FM radio (no cassette or CD player). It has been spray-painted black with two red stripes down the middle (done by previous owner). It has a red cloth interior in good shape, but could used vacuumed up (otherwise it's clean). It'd be a good basic work vehicle. I'm not sure how many miles are on it, and I can't check yet because it's at a friend's house right now.

Needs: battery, tranny pan gasket, shift linkage adjustment (all gears except park are forward gears right now), and exhaust. I have the exhaust, except for the muffler and tailpipe, but it may be a better bet just to have someone put a new exhaust on it. It also has an idling issue.

I basically have $500 in this, and I'm asking for the same. I won't even be breaking even, though, as $200 will go to sending the title in, which I haven't done yet.

$500

87 Mercury Cougar XR7 - 5.0L w/AOD tranny - Power: steering, brakes, locks, windows, mirrors, moonroof, dual power seats; leather interior, interior/exterior lighting package (rear courtesy lamps, map lights, cornering lamps, auto headlamps, auto headlamp dimmer, illuminated entry), keyless entry keypad, full digital dash with full guages & fuel computer, electronic climate control with A/C, intermittent wipers, rear defrost, graphic equalizer (unknown if working or not), NO RADIO. Used to have power antenna, but was replaced with a standard mast. Also has the quad-shock rear-end, and should have the 8.8" rear, but I'm not for sure. Has dual exhaust (factory, but replaced recently) and original turbine wheels.

Was in a wreck by previous owner. The right-front fender and header panel took the worst of the damage. The passenger door is bent a little in the front. The front wheels now need a caster/camber adjustment (tops of wheels are inward). It hasn't affected how it drives, as far as I can tell. I'm unsure if this is related to the same accident, but the driver's door is rippled and rigth behind it is dented in as well.

Needs: battery (works, but doesn't hold a charge well), battery box, left-rear tire (either needs patched, plugged, or replaced), valve cover gasket on driver's side (doesn't leak that bad, but does smoke off the exhaust if you get on it too much). I believe the A/C also needs to be charged. Other than that it runs and drives good. I'm asking $800 for this one.

$800

89 Lincoln Town Car - 5.0L w/AOD tranny. Power: windows, locks, steering, brakes, mirrors, driver's seat, antenna. Leather, intermittent wipers, interior/exterior lighting package (map lights, rear courtesy lamps, cornering lamps), rear defrost, manual climate control with A/C, NO RADIO, analog clock on dash (works), analog thermometer w/green backlight on driver's mirror (works), dual heated mirrors (not sure how they work). The car has 4 newer tires on it (around 5K miles at most) and dual exhaust has been added with 2 glasspacks put on a year ago (sounds nice).

Needs: oil pan gasket, tune-up, A/C needs charged, rocker arm is rattling.

$1500

Again, I'm slightly flexible on the prices. I have clear titles in hand for the Cougar and Lincoln, and the Escort will have to be sent off once I get some cash. If you have any questions or want to make an offer, you can PM me here, call me at either of the numbers listed, or you can email me at the address below. I do have pics available of all 3 vehicles as well. Thanks.

(I will also be selling my 97 Yamaha FZR600R soon, but I have to send the title off for it, too. If you're interested in purchasing it, please let me know and I'll get back to you with info, pics, and a price.)

Give me a few minutes. I'm uploading the pics of all 4 vehicles to PhotoBucket, and I'll be posting the link as soon as I'm finished.
