Caution Caution @ I55 This weekend

This weekend SLKA is hosting the 2011 Kid Kart Nationals sponsored by Championship Racing Performance down on the kart track. These are 5 to 8 year old kids racing karts. We are asking everyone to please use caution when coming to the track for the dirt races Saturday. There will be a ton of kids running around all weekend for this event and as we will tell them to use the same caution they are still kids so please keep an eye out for them and drive slow though the pits. Come early Saturday and return Sunday and check out the next up and coming drivers from all over the USA. There are already young drivers from 4 different states in the pits now and more expected by Friday afternoon. Saturday, July 30: 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM - Open Practice Session / Safety Tech
12:00 PM until 1:00 PM - Lunch Break / Registration Closed
1:00 PM - Drivers Meeting
1:20 PM until 4:00 PM - Qualifying
4:00 PM until 5:00 PM - Qualifying Tech
6:00 PM - Inside Pit Gates Closed
Sunday, July 31: 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM - Open Practice Session
9:00 AM - Drivers meeting
9:20 AM until 12:00 PM - First Round of Heat Races (10 Laps)
12:00 PM until 1:00 PM - Lunch Break
1:00 PM until 1:30 PM - Pre-Feature Race (10 Laps)
1:30 PM until 2:00 PM - Last Chance Heat Races (10 Laps)
2:00 PM until 3:30 PM - Feature Races (15 Laps)
3:30 PM until 4:00 PM - Post Race Tech
4:00 PM until 4:30 PM - Awards Presentation
All times on Sunday are tenetive. We will move things as fast as possible to get everyone home ASAP.

Radar shows little chance of a shower but just incase you run please watch the little guys.
Oh there are over 45 young driver in 2 classes looking for a spot in 2 / 24 kart fields
each class has over 24 entry's.
Qualifying starts today at 1:20pm stop in and ask these little guys for an autograph and show them your stock cars, you never know one of them might someday be racing you. A lot of drivers came from far far away. Help me let them know it is worth the trip.
