CMS is already updating an exciting 2007 race schedule with some fan friendly special events beginning with a Car Show on Saturday, April 14, from 11 a.m. until noon at the track prior to the 1 p.m. practice. Prizes will be awarded for each class of cars scheduled to race at CMS in 2007. Fans can vote for their favorite cars and both fans and drivers will be eligible for special awards.
Other race fan specials this year include several Senior Race Night events where seniors will receive a special free admission ticket to a future race when they bring a friend to the track. Seniors will also receive a break on grand stand admission this year with a $5 ticket rate for all races, except for specials.
CMS will also honor area service members with two Military Appreciation Nights at the races with reduced grand stand admission rates for ID card holders along with a weekly $2 discount on admission. CMS will include our veterans, American Legion and VFW members with a race night to honor their service to our country in August. There is also a $2 off admission price for college students with I. D.
Fans will be able to receive autographs and talk with drivers from the Mighty Modifieds, ULMA Late Models, Street Stocks and B-Modifieds classes during special autograph sessions throughout the year when each class races in a special event.
These special fan friendly race events along with the 2007 race sponsors including, KOKO / MIKE 98.5 Radio, Comfort Inn, RSC Rental, C.A.R.B., KMMO Radio, Pepsi Racing, Miller Lite Racing, Budweiser and other program sponsors will provide weekly race program prizes to be given away during the intermission.
