Cerro Gordo to Fund-raise Opening Night for one of Ealeyville Speedway Promoters due to recent tragedy.
Cerro Gordo Speedway will be taking donations along with a Special 50/50 drawing that all of Cerro Gordo Speedway proceeds will go to the Harter Family whose house and almost all of the families possessions were destroyed in a house fire on 3/24. We will be taking cash donations or any donations that would that would suit the family in rebuilding. Monica and Tony Harter have 2 girls ages 7 and 5 and 1 boy of almost 3 years old. Toys, books, clothes will all be accepted but please ensure that if any items are used that they are suitable.
Cerro Gordo Speedway would like to send our deepest regard for the Harter Family and the Ealeyville Speedway in this time of need. We will do everything in our power to help this family rebuild. In times like this its not about dirt tracks, kart count, track prep or filling the stands, its about a racing community sticking up for one if its own in need. We hope to see everyone on Friday night at the Cerro Gordo Speedway.
