CGS postpones $1000 to win to next Friday due to rain

Cerro Gordo Speedway postpones Unilli Money Series till next week due to rain
(Cerro Gordo, Illinois) With another week with hard rains, and over a 80 percent chance of more today and tonight this weeks events at Cerro Gordo Speedway will be postponed till next week. This marks race number five out of nine in the 2013 season that has fell victim to Mother Nature.
Race number two of the Unilli Money Series will be moved to next Friday night June 7th. The Stock Medium Special that was scheduled for this Friday night will be moved to September 13th. Next week the Adult Clone 380 Class will be chasing the $1000.00 to win Unilli Money race. Not only will the winner receive a huge payday, but positions second through fifth will be racing for $500.00 each. Also featured next Friday night will be the Open class that will be battling for a $400 purse over 60 laps (15 Kart Min.) for the Schaeffer Oil Shootout. as they will be shaking down their karts for the following week when the UAS Open Series heads to the Cerro Gordo Speedway for their Saturday night special. All weekly classes will be in action next Friday night. This will be one of the last chances for the Winged Sprint Karts to get some laps before their Hoosier Dirt Dual for $1000.00 to win on Saturday June 15th, Cerro Gordo Speedway is located on the Piatt County Fairgrounds in Cerro Gordo, Illinois.
