(St. Louis, MO - July 24th, 2009) -- Chad Simpson Racing out of Mt. Vernon, Iowa has had a strong 2009 racing season thus far. So far in '09 the team has started twenty events, come home with the win nearly 25% of the time with four victories, finished in the top five almost 75% of the time with thirteen top fives, and has finished outside the top ten only three times. The great season has put the team at the top of the standings in not only the World Dirt Racing League where Simpson took the title in 2008 but also in the Corn Belt Clash.
Chad Simpson Racing has a very busy week ahead of them as they will be running five straight nights of wheel to wheel dirt racing. The first stop will be July 28th at North Central Speedway in Brainerd, MN under the WDRL banner. Simpson has been strong in Brainerd in the past as he is coming off a WDRL win just a few months past. The team will then load up and head to Superior Speedway in Superior, WI, this event is also hosted by the WDRL. The team is coming off a solid third place run at the speedway just over a month ago. The last leg of the WDRL weekend tour will be hosted at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI. That is not all the action that will take place in New Richmond as the following two days July 31st and August 1st the team will switch gears from WDRL and run the two day USA Nationals show.
The team looks forward to the challenging week ahead and is hoping to come out holding the lead in WDRL standings as they defend the top spot and maybe come home with a few more wins to add to the 2009 tally.
