Mt. Holly, North Carolina (09/26/17) – Chris Ferguson returned to his winning ways on Saturday evening. He took his Diff-Tran Machining #22 K&K Trucking/ Rocket Chassis XR1/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to Victory Lane at Virginia’s Wythe Raceway.

His third Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series win of 2017 rewarded him with a $4,000 payday.

“We should’ve won one there earlier this year but had a mechanical failure, so it feels great to get redemption,” Ferguson said. “This has been an up-and-down year for us, but right now I feel really good about our program and hopefully we can end the year with more wins and on an overall high note.”

Saturday found Chris Ferguson in action at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, West Virginia) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. Qualifying fastest in a field of 14 Super Late Models, Ferguson earned the pole position for the A-Main. Jumping into the lead at the drop of the green flag, Chris led wire-to-wire, capturing his sixth win of the season and a $4,000 payday. Michael Brown, Vic Hill, Dennis Franklin, and Walker Arthur completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.
