Bear Lake, PA --- Chub Frank of Bear Lake, PA spent this past weekend in Iowa and Illinois competing in two dirt Late Model events where he scored two top ten finishes. Chubzilla is competing this season in his Lester Buildings, Corry Rubber, All Star Performance, Corry Laser, Slavic Corporation, Farr MotorSports, Lake Shore Paving, Custom Race Engines, Rocket Chassis #1*.
Last Friday evening Chubzilla headed west for shows at Farley Speedway in Farley, IA on Friday Night May 19th where he finished second in his heat race and a ninth place finish in the main event. The following evening Chubzilla traveled to La Salle Speedway in La Salle, IL on Saturday Night May 20th where he finished third in his heat race and third in the main event.
Up next for Chubzilla and the World Of Outlaws Late Model Series will be to the state of Missouri for a first time ever appearance at Bolivar Speedway USA in Bolivar, Missouri. The $10,000 to win ‘Bank of Bolivar 50’ unfolds Tuesday, May 23 at the high-banked 3/8ths mile clay oval.
Following the WoO LMS race at Bolivar Chubzilla will head to the unsanctioned 14th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Show Me 100 that will be held at Don and Billie Gibson’s West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri on May 25th-27th, 2006. The 14th edition of the legendary event will boast $40,000 going to the winner of the 100-lap affair, and $4,000 just to make the twenty-four car starting grid.
Also, Chubzilla has announced that his all new line of 2006 merchandise in Lester Buildings colors is now available on his website on the merchandise page. The new ‘Chubzilla’ merchandise is produced by Ron Slavic and Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals, the official merchandise provider of Chub Frank Racing.
