Very good payout all the way through from 1-22. Please pass this on to mod racers and fans. Kevin at CCS has busted his butt trying to build this track back up. He has done a fantastic job this year. The track was as racey as I've seen it in a long while Saturday night. CCS was a track that was going to close the doors but Kevin came in and put his time and effort into this track and it's been a very fun season. The track website is www.claycountyspeedway.net you can see what's been going on and what's going to be happening at track. The mod series website is www.americanmodifiedseries.com If you run UMP mods you are legal for this series. It's just a series started for mods. Also running that night will be

1. Brian Shaw
2. Chad Kinder
3. Mike Harrison
4. Ed Shamhart

27 modifieds. Very good show with some good heat races and very good cars. Trent Young was very fast early and then pulled off. Brian Shaw was in a league of his own. He had so much forward bite it was unbeliveable. The track was very good top and bottom through the 1st half of the race and then the bottom was the fast way around. Harrison and Kinder was all over the track trying to find something late but Shaw just kept creeping away to bring home the $1500. Very glad CCS has put on some good shows this year. Look forward to many more. The stands were packed.
