A clone motor is a over head valve 6.5 hp looks like a honda they are blue
yellow gray black but not red and made in china

What ever happened to AMERICAN made motors?:eek: Great way to spend your LABOR DAY, on a MADE IN CHINA racing motor.:rolleyes:
Almost makes me want to sell my Toyota:D

:) Is there such thing as made in America kart motors maybe briggs and there getting more and more pricy engine biulders charge a arm and leg
to freshen one and its so stupid all the charges are mostly dyno time
because they replace stuff that dont need changed like the rod and that
has a replacement bearing that was the line I got when I came in to this sport:confused: "you need a billett rod you just replace the bearing when freshening":eek:
ya right these engine biulders make a killing on freshening a motor they
prombly reuse other rods unless they are scrapping them. Come on
its a $50.00 -$60.00 $$$ rod .
Just my two cents. dont kill me:eek:

That might be with your motor but I watched our engine builder put it together one night while we were in North Carolina and I will tell you one thing that motor was not on the dyno for long he got the numbers he was looking for put the motor on the kart and away we went did not just slap it together took his time to do it right not always done in 1 or 2 days take the time to do it right if not done right will not win many races then no pne will send him thier motors and thats a fact no matter what company builds them unless dirt cheap racing does one for you
