If were doing trivia: Who won the last race at the tracks that are gone now. Classes and the last race ever!!!
 
my dad bob edwards won the last street stock race at benton ill . for the young racers the track was at the end of the drag strip. he raced a 1950 studebaker champion. im thinking the date was 1969 id have to ask him on date
 
i think steve shepherd won the last late model feature at st. charles. jimmy cummins won the last modified semi at godfrey, does that count?
 
I think I know the guy who won the last street stock race at Godfrey.

I think it was either hammerle or steve shive that won the last late model race at St. Charles. Dean hoffman I believe won the last mod race there. I think Harrison, Korte, Hogenson, and Shaw won godfrey, I could be wrong though.

I won the last Pro-4 feature at frederictown before they closed this year. But they may open again next year.
 
well i lied, i won the 2nd to last mod semi at godfrey.

like i said, i could be wrong, but i really thought shepherd won the last night at st charles in that red 1s car he ran at highland a bunch that year. i remember vic catalano wrecked and broke his leg and a fire truck drove across the race track and left huge ruts
 
i was the last late model to cross the finish line,the car is the same one i now run as a sportsman,,also did the same at st.chas...and i was the last race car peroid to cross under the checkered flag at lake hill...i think ether john seets or dick taylor won that day
 
The announceers at tri city this year were telling a story about dick taylor and said he won the last race at lake hill.
 
ol tom was the wizard on the half.when he was there them guys where racing for second and im sure that must of s$$ked!!!look how many he won in a row, and that happened more then once.
