First off, this was my first time to I-55 this year and I was really impressed with the racing in all classes. Great Job I-55 crew and to all the drivers, great night of racing!!!

Who else thought that move that Manville took around the lap car to pass Korte was AWESOME?!?!? That moved just showed how Korte reacts when some rookie makes him look bad. He was so peed off that he just about spun a lap car and also almost wrecked him and his teamate Manville coming out of turn 4. I am proud of Korte for not wrecking anyone, but talk about embarrassing for Korte, it was fun to watch though. ;);)

Why doesn't the race track get transponders for the cars? That was a little to long after the cautions to line of the cars. Especially when they were trying to line up the last 4 cars out of 24. Just a thought....

Also, why was Walsh not in the dash? Was that his decision?

 
Glad you enjoyed the racing! We do apologize for the delay in realigning the late models. We had an equipment malfunction which caused the delay. We wanted to make sure we had them right for the restart.

The final finish is also under review and we are doing another complete race rundown to ensure we get it correct.
 
I thought it was passing points was the reason itf it is it ****s you win a heat and dont make the dash.they dont use passing points when qualifying and the fast guys are up front anyway,pill draw is a bit of an equalizer noneed for passing points.I dont think Korte and Manville are teammates anymore he does not have tmci on his car.glad to see Manville win he did good even after he was passed.transponders would be a fan friendly improvement it was a little on the cold side last night it should not take that long to line up cars after a caution.
 
Apparently Korte and Tom Manville (Tim's dad and the TM in 'TMCI') had a falling out. They aren't teammates anymore.

Thats why i go to belleville. you get what you earn.and no better racing anywhere else. Heck, the track offered the Modified drivers a free night in last week. I guess drivers from other tracks looked at the top knotch drivers roster of BC and didnt except. cant really blame em. Oh well i guess there isnt to much given out free anymore, why not run at a place that at least a give you points free even if you started last and ended up third cause five cars in front of you crashed. heck free is free.

Yea and fans pay for it at the gate. Isn't it up to $20 a race now? :rolleyes:
And for fewer cars at that with a curfew. I'll stick with Pevely..as a fan anyhow. $10 for over 25 races, can't beat it!!! That is close enough to free for me...:)
 
Walsh started in the pole and took 1st.If I am correct then he got 4 points. Now Bittle started in the 9th spot and took 2nd. He passes 7 cars and that is 10 because he got 3 points for taking 2nd and 7 points for passing. I could be wrong but I think thats how it works. I like this way because its not fair to me if your on the pole and take 1st and someone else starts last and finishes in a good spot. I do think they earned the spot in the dash. I have seen alot of time that 4 points makes it to the dash.....
 
ray walsh

everybody is always worried bout ray walsh. i dont understand what makes him so appealing, he is arrogant. when most people i talk to at the races they feel the same. i would much rather see a guy with not much money or big sponsors win than ray walsh ex.tommy seets or tim hancock

He puts on a good show most of the time,and is fun to watch.That is one reason he has alot of fans.As far as driver5s getting arrogant when they get those big haulers some get a big head to go along with it.
 
I remember back in the old days when they would reverse the field or put the good drivers in the back of the field. Some races were like that last night at Pevely and the racing was great in those heat races. But Walsh's heat race was a waste of fuel, it was like watching hotlaps. Put him in the back, make him work for it. Do it for the fans!!!

Remember last year at Pevely, he started dead last and won the feature. Now that was exciting...
 
Korte and manville

Great night of racing,needed alittle water on the top of the track,and it would have been wall to wall racing,tim manville went to sake kortes hand after the race and korte said 'he don't sake hands with n----- drivers like him. What a sore loser!tim passed him clean just as randy passed him early in the race,korte was alittle tight and tims car was right on,good job to the manvilles,keep up the great driving tim.you will be the champ soon!!!! I don't know him but I always heard that Korte was pretty arrogant. And he's definitely lost a step or two since his great year about 3 years ago. Too bad that he chose not to shake Manville's hand. That's not real classy.
 
Thats why we dont root for him. Last year my son wanted to get his 8x11 picture of Korte autograph and he was very rude to him. He did sign it though but he acted like my son wasnt even there.He acted like we was wasting his time. We lost all respect for him after that.....
