I work with a lady who's nephew is the one Kyle was defending in the altercation. According to her, Kyle stepped in between her nephew and the guy with the knife....saving him from being stabbed. Sounds like something Kyle would do. Rest in Peace my friend.

Yes, Kyle Roberts was the nephew of Dennis Wernle and a former racer himself.

The entire Wernle/Roberts family needs everyones thoughts and prayers not only for this tragic loss, but it was just a few years ago that the family lost Scot Wernle
