Hey there is nothing wrong with Worley Fans, Just like there is nothing wrong with Montgomery Fans, Everyone has a favorite Dosnt matter who. Everyone should have a favorite, But people can still get along and dont have to trash any of the drivers. The are all great drivers. I think everyone should try to get along and have fun at our track. I like Tommy, But I have nothing against the Montgomery's or any racers for that matter Lets get along and GO RACING:)

I agree with that. We all need to get along and go Racing. I am a fan of Tommy's and I am a fan of the Montgomery's. I have no problem against anyone. I just think it was awesome to see Tommy Worley Jr. Saturday Night! He is a good racer and cant wait to see him back out on the track!

That right there is what makes me mad!!!...What have the Montgomery's done to be put in the middle of this? I know of an incident that happened just this week when a certain someone "had something to say" to a member of the Montgomery family! What's up with that? And by the way DirtSurfer, I know that you have to be going on the first lap! I don't know if you would know who Ricky Stenhouse is, he used to try to win it on the first lap and EVERY single night he would be upside down and make his car owner mad! That was happening to Tommy not too many years ago! And do NOT ever compare me to a Worley fan in ANY way. Don't want to be associated with that crowd at ALL!!!!

"That crowd" is full of people just like the two of us.
We both...
1) are Sprintcar fans
2) have the sun in our eyes and dirt in our drink by 7:00pm on Saturday night.
3) know the smell of ethanol and could recognize it anywhere
4) root for our favorites, and take up for them with just as much enthusiasm.
5) comment, compliment or question others about issues at the track.
6) aren't afraid to attach our name to a post.
7) will argue with a "brick wall"

With all this in common.......What's NOT to compare!:D

Tommy may have had those problems in the past, but "big deal". There isn't an enthusiastic driver out there who hasn't had their share of growing pains. I've seen alot more than Stenhouse or Worley struggling to race, some who were still struggling years later.....

:) By the way, You win....I'll get of my soapbox now. I'll go find something constructive to do now.....:D

Excuse me.....so what, you are an official!! That does not mean that your opinion on every topic on here is golden. An opinion is an opinion and we all have them. You may claim to know the rules but so do the rest of us. And I don't care what you say, the rules are not always consistant! No one asked you to quote all of the rules! And if you are one of the people helping call some of the shots, maybe you should start watchin and listening instead of doing all of the talking. And, i'm sorry but EVERYONE (including you) has a favorite or favorites! get real........

Yep, that's me, an official trying to keep peace and the bull**** down. Not trying to quote all the rules and not trying to say my opinion is "perfect" or golden as you put it. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've voiced an opinion one way or another. I believe I have just been stating facts and trying to let people know why some things are done the way they are. Some people will get it and some won't.

On this thread I'm simply trying to point out that this year there is a rule in place to cover this type of thing because everyone keeps bringing up the incident from last year and how nothing happened to the 21 car.

I also never said I didn't have a favorite or favorite drivers,..I said I DON'T care who wins, never have and never will. There is a big difference. Just because I'm an official and have some people I really like to watch race does not make me a cheater. As a matter of fact some of the ones I really enjoy watching would surprise you!

Do we make mistakes, yep, more than once. Have we admitted our mistakes to those who matter? Yep, more than once. Will we continue to do the best job we can week in and week out no matter how much you whine and cry when it's "your favorite driver" that's breaking the rules. Count on it.

No one said you weren't entitled to your opinion. Opinions are fine, downright accusations on someones character are something else and it's time for that crap to stop.

One more thing and then I'm done with this..nothing Ive written here was even addressed to you. I don't know who you are and for that matter really don't care, but dont' come on here and try to tell ME to start watching the races. I've probably spent more years at that facility than you've had birthdays.

Have a nice evening.

Another Chicken $&I% First Time Poster

You are barking up the wrong tree questioning Scoreone's knowledge of the rules ! This official has been doing this for MANY years and has NEVER missed a night of work ! So, if you want to be a Chicken $hit and hide behind a made up name to bash someone, you picked the wrong person !!!!!!!!!!! Bashing this 1 person, when there is several people that are in on the decision making process. I feel you owe this official an apology ! LD :)

ha!

scoreone.....as i said before, you have your opinion and i have mine. I personally think that you were mouthing where mouthin is not due! You might say that you DON"T CARE who wins, but I don't believe that! And you are human too, you don't always make this best decisions or judgment calls so, don't act like you see everything and make the right calls according to the RULES!
hobbiestocksfan......you are always a big mouth and make yourself look like a fool so i'm not gonna waste my time with you!!! poof...YOURE GONE!!!:D

mr. sprinter...if all of the officials are human and humans don't always make the best decisions or judgement calls, what do you suggest we do? how can there ever be a non-biased race track if it employees human officials? maybe we build robot officials to aid in the decision making process??? then people would claim that programmer for the robot is biased.

it never fails to amaze me how well someone can do someone else's job better when they have NO CLUE what it entails.

ok...

i never said that anyone was perfect or that I have a better suggestion. The point i was trying to make is that no matter what the rules are (& we all know what the rules are), that the rules are not always followed. Anyoneone who has ever been to the track knows that is a fact. Everyone sees things different no matter rules you try to imply. so...we don't need to be read the rules everytime issues like this arise because the rules are always subject to change according to what officials might or might not see!!!!!!!!!!

Open Rules

27. The management reserves the right to change the race program or rules at any time to improve the racing program.

SEEMS TO ME RULE 27 MEANS THERE CAN BE NO RULES IF SOMEONE DECIDES TO MAKE IT THAT WAY. WHATS THE PURPOSE OF RULES WHEN CLEARLY RULE 27 SAYS THEY CAN PRETTY WELL DO AND DECIDE WHAT THEY WANT TO WHO THEY WANT? NOW TELL ME AGAIN THERE ISNT AND COULDNT BE FAVORTISM PLAYED SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE!!!!!

Thats a STUPID Rule

That forms a gray area in the rules, And makes people think when special drivers get by with murder, then it was a set-up deal. They could do us all a favor and dump that rule or maybe try to fool STUPID people in a little bit better way. If Im not mistaken that rule has been refered to on this board as the "JOEY" Rule. If they want this type of crap to go away they should think about how they try to pull a fast one on us with that rule and do something about it. But they have a racetrack and we dont so let em do what they want they probably will anyway!
