Congrats to Jeff Johns for his first feature win since 1999 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55!!

Checkered Flag Lap (was actually side by side with Sheppard coming out of turn 4, but Sheppard pushed and backed out of throttle instead of door slamming Johns):


 
The feature win in 1999 was at Belle Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL. Jeff has not won a feature at Federated Auto Parts Raceway since that win at Belle Clair. He did win the Late Model championship last year without a feature win. That is an accomplishment in itself. Good driving last night and holding off Brandon Sheppard for the win.
 
Actually congrats to both. Jeff for having and awesome run and Sheppard for running him hard but clean that last lap. Had everyone standing up!
 
Is this the same Jeff that used to have the kshe95 pig on the car? To win without winning a race is a great season of being consistent... Way to go !!!
 
Congrats to Jethro and his entire crew. He always gets good consistant finishes and I bet there is more to come this year. One of the most underrated drivers in our area, drives hard but clean, never tears up his or others equipment. Great going Jeff, Mike Mineman.
