Last night the legend, "Dandy" Don Klein received the first (newly rechristened) Mike Meurer Ambassador Award at the 46th Annual St. Louis Auto Racing Fan Club Banquet of Champions.
"Dandy" Don received a standing ovation and was very moved to be the first recipient as he had a lot of respect for Meurer.
It is a well deserved award for someone who has meant so much to the sport of auto racing here in St. Louis.
