(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. racing teams are scheduled to compete on three different tracks in three different states this weekend. The patriarch of the racing Conley family, Delmas Conley, is slated to be in action at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH this Saturday night for a $2,000 to win feature event. “Hot Rod” Conley will join his dad at K-C on Saturday night, but will also compete in the $5,000 to win MACS Series event at the Elkins Speedway in Elkins, WV on Friday night. R.J. Conley will more than likely race at the Florence Speedway in Union, KY in the $5,000 to win O’Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Series event. R.J.’s son will be playing basketball in Louisville on Saturday, so depending on the game schedule, R.J. may or not make it to Florence.

R.J. missed the 12th Annual ‘Show-Me 100’ starting field last weekend after finishing fifth in both his heat race and the B-Main at the West Plains, MO oval. He set the fourteenth fastest time in qualifying on Friday night to earn a front row starting spot in his heat race, but the driver of the Conley Trucking #71c Rocket / Draime Grand Prix could not capitalize. It was R.J.’s first trip to the West Plains Motor Speedway for the $38,000 to win event.

“We just made some bad decisions and we missed the show,” said R.J. today. “We were good in practice on Thursday and then we qualified strong on Friday night. The track got super slick on Saturday night and we didn’t make the right changes to the car. We knew what the car needed, but for some reason we just didn’t do it.”

Rod Conley competed in a trio of $5,000 to win MACS Series events over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. “Hot Rod” had a disappointing nineteenth place finish on Friday night at the Raceway 7 in Conneaut, OH. He finished third in his heat race and was up to sixth in the feature when the fourth place car spun out and Rod had no where to go. A 21st place finish was in order for Rod and the team on Saturday night at the Stateline Speedway in Busti, NY. The team rebounded from its rough weekend start on Sunday with a fourth place effort at the Eriez Speedway in Hammet, PA.
