(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. racing teams get back in the swing of things next week at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL. As of press time, both R.J. and Rod are heading down to the Sunshine state for sure and their dad, Delmas, is pretty sure he is going to make the long trip down south. The action kicks off at Volusia on Tuesday, February 3, with a $5,000 to win World of Outlaw Late Model event. The new series will host three additional shows that same week with another $5,000 feature on Wednesday, a $10,000 show on Friday, and a $12,000 to win finale on Sunday. These will be the first four races for the new series and R.J. is really excited about the formation of the series.

“I think the World of Outlaw deal will be good for us, along with a lot of other people,” said R.J. from the Conley Trucking shop. “We wanted to be loyal to Hoosier and this series is allowing us and other drivers in the same boat as us to have a place to race. I think Xtreme has done a lot of great things, but implementing a mandatory tire rule was not the thing to do in my opinion. We will just have to see how things play out over the course of this year, it should be an interesting one!”

After the World of Outlaw event on February 8, the UMP Series comes into Volusia Speedway Park to sanction the next week of racing. R.J. is definitely not staying for the second week of competition, as his son is competing in AAU basketball that week. Delmas and Rod are undecided about the events on February 9-14. A decision will probably not be made until the last second. As soon as something is decided, the team’s website (www.conleymotorsportsinc.com) will be updated. A complete 2004 schedule should also be available for all three drivers shortly after they get back from Florida.

All sponsors and product sponsors are back on board with Conley Motorsports, Inc. for 2004. All three drivers will once again choose Rocket Chassis as their chassis of choice and Draime Engines as their choice of powerplants. The team would like to also thank Conley Trucking, Cornett Building Supply, Vinyl Craft Windows, AFCO Racing Products, Impact Racing Decals, Schoenfeld Headers, Hoosier Tire, Weld Wheels, Wrisco, Design 500, and Bazell Race Fuels, among others, for all of their help and support. You can learn more about all three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers by accessing their home on the web, located at www.conleymotorsportsinc.com.
