The race cars in the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series are powered by economical GM Performance 350 cubic inch engines, built and sealed at the factory. The aluminum head “604” engine can be purchased for $4,950.00 and the steel head “602” engine can be purchased for $2,950.
The price of each engine includes free delivery to Alabama, Georgia, East Tennessee, South Carolina and North Florida through NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton, GA.
The new StormPay Racing Apparel includes the new “Fast Out Of The Box” StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series t-shirt, and the t-shirt for the StormPay.com-sponsored race team of Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame member Jeff Purvis of Clarksville, TN.
The GM Performance Crate Engines and the StormPay Racing apparel will also be available this weekend at the 16th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series will compete in its first National Touring points race of the 2006 season with the $2,500-to-win NeSmith Chevrolet 40.
Qualifying and the Fast Car Dash will take place on Saturday afternoon, with the B-Main events, and the NeSmith Chevrolet 40 happening on Sunday afternoon.
