WAYCROSS, GA (May 3, 2012) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce that Crawford Supply, an authorized distributor for Traeger Grills has signed on as a series sponsor for the next three years. Crawford Supply is a leading oilfield supply and service oriented company with four locations servicing Kansas and Southern Nebraska. In 1993 Crawford Supply became the authorized Midwest Distributor for Traeger Grills. With three warehouses, Crawford Supply has expanded its pellet grills business with dealers in 16 different states across the United States. Crawford Supply is also a primary sponsor of Clint Bowyer’s race team with driver Jared Landers, the 2011 LOLMDS Rookie of the Year.

As part of their sponsorship, Crawford Supply/Traeger Grills will sponsor a special driver appreciation luncheon for the top ten drivers in the series point’s standings. The Crawford Supply Driver Appreciation Luncheon, presented by Traeger Grills will take place during the Show-Me 100 weekend festivities at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday May 26th. Crawford Supply representatives will prepare the food for the luncheon using the wood pellet Traeger Grills and giving the racers and their crews a firsthand experience of tasting the difference in cooking with a Traeger Wood Pellet Grill.

“Everyone at Crawford Supply is very excited to partner with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. It’s a great opportunity for us to expose our Traeger Grills brand to the numerous markets the series competes in all across the nation”, stated Scott Crawford, CEO of the Traeger Grills division. “Our relationship with Clint Bowyer Racing has been great and everyone on the series staff have been great to work with as well. We look forward to attending more events over the next three years and increasing our Traeger Grills brand by partnering with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series”, Scott Crawford went on to say.

In addition to the special driver appreciation luncheon, Crawford Supply will sponsor a special cash bonus for racers. Having them on board and sponsoring the bonus money between the Diamond Nationals and the Silver Dollar Nationals will just add to a huge week of racing in the month of July between those two events,” stated Ritchie Lewis, Series Director.

The series will get back in action this weekend, kicking off a busy month of May. The series’ next event will take place at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL on Friday May 4th for a complete one-day show paying $10,000 to win.
