Crawford Supply/Traeger Grills Signs on as LOLMDS Sponsor

WAYCROSS, GA (May 3, 2012) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce that Crawford Supply, an authorized distributor for Traeger Grills has signed on as a series sponsor for the next three years. Crawford Supply is a leading oilfield supply and service oriented company with four locations servicing Kansas and Southern Nebraska. In 1993 Crawford Supply became the authorized Midwest Distributor for Traeger Grills. With three warehouses, Crawford Supply has expanded its pellet grills business with dealers in 16 different states across the United States. Crawford Supply is also a primary sponsor of Clint Bowyer’s race team with driver Jared Landers, the 2011 LOLMDS Rookie of the Year.

As part of their sponsorship, Crawford Supply/Traeger Grills will sponsor a special driver appreciation luncheon for the top ten drivers in the series point’s standings. The Crawford Supply Driver Appreciation Luncheon, presented by Traeger Grills will take place during the Show-Me 100 weekend festivities at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday May 26th. Crawford Supply representatives will prepare the food for the luncheon using the wood pellet Traeger Grills and giving the racers and their crews a firsthand experience of tasting the difference in cooking with a Traeger Wood Pellet Grill.

In addition to the special driver appreciation luncheon, Crawford Supply will sponsor a special cash bonus for racers. The Crawford Supply/Traeger Grills Bonus Money Award will offer racers a $1,000 cash bonus to the driver that earns the most points between the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events, the Diamond Nationals on July 14th at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO and the Silver Dollar Nationals on July 20-21st at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE. A special driver autograph session will also take place during the Siler Dollar Nationals at I-80 Speedway on July 21st sponsored by Crawford Supply and Traeger Grills. The series will get back in action this weekend, kicking off a busy month of May. The series’ next event will take place at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL on Friday May 4th for a complete one-day show paying $10,000 to win. The series will then travel to Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, KY on Saturday May 5th for another $10,000 to win sanctioned event. These two events will begin a stretch of five consecutive weekends that the series will compete on.
