Club News: Brian called last night and said this weekend is the Cotton Bowl Race at Malden. Steve has invited the Vintage Cars dwon for Saturday 10/6/12. The boys from Tennessee are coming. It will be a non point race and 2 free pit passes. Also, Dustin called about the rescheduling for Tri-City on Saturday 10/20/12....yes, it is a Saturday race.
This months Vintage photo is in memory of Bud Pursley. Bud passed away last month. He was a heck of a driver and a super nice guy. Bud will be greatly missed by the racing community.
Highland Speedway: A total of 20 cars showed for the 175th Jubilee Celebration. Thank you for having the GVRA Club. We had a great time! We started off the day with qualifying. Dustin McClintock turned in the fastest time of 15.7. We also had the "Australian Pursuit Race"....when is the last time you saw one of those? It was won by #28 Sam Worley.
