(Macon, IL) Bring your Mom and your camera to Macon Speedway this Saturday Night for our annual Mother Dear night to honor all mothers at the track this Saturday. While Mom and you are there get your photo taken next to the #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. show car. The show car will be on display from 5-8 pm. There will be a special mother’s only drawing for door prizes and mothers will receive an extra surprise when they come in the gate on Saturday night. Also, scheduled for the night we will have the Crazy Chicks N Cars for the 1st time this season. Come and check out the Crazy Chicks battle it out to see who will reign supreme. Macon Speedway is proud to be giving the modified division an increase in its weekly modified feature payout. We now will be paying $75.00 to start the feature event, starting May 10.
Macon Speedway will also host its second Macon Speedway driver autograph session for 2008, so bring your pens and your favorite items to be autographed to Macon Speedway’s pavilion and meet our local dirt track heroes. Don’t forget to show your support for the modified drivers as one lucky modified driver will once again be drawn to choose his or her Best Fan in the Stands. If you are the fan that they choose that night you will win $100, so be creative and show your support for the modified division.
Next week Macon Speedway will play host to the Meridian Schools. Drivers beware! There will be plenty of green in the stands as the Meridian Hawks show their school spirit by wearing their school color..green! New to Macon Speedway, our 1st car show. Trophies will be awarded and you will get the opportunity to drive your car on Macon Speedway 1/5 mile dirt track.
