inaugural World of Outlaws Late Model Series campaign this weekend in the
Magnolia State of Mississippi. Dale and the rest of the “Dirty Dozen”
members will be in attendance this Friday and Saturday night at the Delta
Bowl Speedway in Tunica, MS. A $5,000 to win WoO Series show is scheduled
for Friday with a $15,000 payday on the line for Saturday evening. The
crowning of the first World of Outlaws Late Model Series Champion will occur
after the Saturday event on the 1/3-mile, high-banked gumbo oval. For more

“MacDaddy” comes into this weekend fourth in the latest version of the WoO
point standings and sits 75 points behind leader Scott Bloomquist. He has
amassed six victories, 19 Top Five finishes, and 31 Top Ten efforts in the
39 WoO events thus far in 2004. He also has seven pole awards this season,
which is tops on the series. The WoO series banquet will be held on Sunday
in Tunica, MS at the Sam’s Town Casino.

‘Grant Adcox Memorial’ at the nearby Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN.
Dale finished fourth behind the wheel of his Petroff Towing / J&J Steel /
New Vision Graphics #17m Larry Shaw / Racetek Grand Prix after starting the
50-lapper from the fourth starting position. In fact, the top five
finishers all finished the event exactly where they started.
“We decided to race around home at Cleveland last weekend because we had
driving school scheduled for today,” said Dale from the session this
afternoon. “It was good from a standpoint that we had a couple of extra
days around here last week that we could get all of our equipment in
top-notch shape. I am looking forward to getting to Tunica this weekend.
We have had a great season so far and hopefully we can cap it off in a big
way this weekend.”
