(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team found themselves back at the pristine Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday evening, August 16 for a weekly Aaron's Pro Late Model program. Daniel Baggerly, who was turning his first competitive laps in three weeks, posted the quickest circuit during qualifying to earn Fast Time honors. After drawing the sixth starting spot prior to the drop of the green flag in the 25-lap headliner, Daniel pointed his CVR racecar towards the front and nabbed the lead heading to the white flag.
The Rural Retreat, Virginia ace appeared to pick up the $600 top prize, but his racecar weighed in a mere two pounds light at the scales during post-race inspection. Instead of celebrating in victory lane for the fifth time in 2014, Daniel was placed dead last (fourteenth) in the final finishing order at VMS. Following the disappointment of Saturday, the #16 team will take the upcoming August 22-23 weekend off from racing action.
