(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) A rare single-race weekend for the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series took the #28 team to Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Saturday evening, August 26. The annual running of the 'Whiskey City 60' drew a large contingent of fans to the Hoosier State facility and 32 drivers were focused on the $12,000 payday.

Dennis Erb, Jr. knocked down the seventh quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session and later grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race. Dennis then started the 60-lapper from the inside of the fifth row and ran amongst the top ten throughout the distance before landing in the eighth finishing position. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace leaves Lawrenceburg eighth in the current version of the LOLMDS point standings. Full results from the 'Whiskey City 60' can be located by pointing your Internet browser to www.lucasdirt.com.

Up first will be a $5,000 to win UMP DIRTcar Series show on Friday night at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. From there, two lucrative Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdowns will take center stage in the states of Ohio and West Virginia. The 'Bob Miller Memorial,' which boasts a $12,000 winner's check, will be held on Saturday evening at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio, while the tripleheader weekend will wrap up with the $25,000 to win 'Hillbilly Hundred' on Sunday at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia.
