(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail to the states of Tennessee and Indiana from August 21-23 for a pair of $10,000 to win shootouts. On Thursday night at the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, a strong contingent of Super Late Models piled into the pit area for the annual ‘Scorcher.’ Dennis Erb, Jr. knocked down the ninth quickest lap overall during qualifying and later grabbed the fifth transfer spot through his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the eighth row in the 50-lap headliner, Dennis was able to move past six competitors during the ‘Scorcher’ to eventually nab a solid ninth place effort.Following a day off on Friday, the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana played host to the cars and stars of the LOLMDS on Saturday evening in the ‘Whiskey City 50.’ Dennis posted the fi ...
