(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb drove his Petroff Towing / B&K Sportswear & Vinyl Graphics #28 Rayburn / Hedrick Monte Carlo to four Top Ten finishes last weekend at four different venues. Dennis’ top finish of the weekend came on Thursday night in the $2,000 UMP Challenge of Champions event at the Spoon River Speedway in Canton, IL. He captured his heat race and went on to post a fourth place finish.
After his fourth place run on Thursday, Dennis competed in three $10,000 to win, UMP Tri-Track Challenge events the remainder of the weekend. He finished tenth at the Farmer City (IL) Raceway on Friday night after finishing third in his heat race. Dennis then finished eighth after coming out of the B-Main at the I-55 (MO) Speedway on Saturday night. The weekend wrapped up for Dennis last night at the Vermillion County (IL) Speedway. Dennis won his heat race after starting on the last row and wound up sixth in the main event.
Dennis will be in action this weekend at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH. The 10th Annual 'Dream 100' will be on tap this weekend with the winner receiving $100,000. The action kicks off on the high-banked, 1/2-mile clay oval this Friday night with qualifications and non-qualifiers events.
