Different Rules at different tracks

The 2 main tracks I plan on racing at next year have different rules on engines. It's the same thing that you guys down in the St. Louis area face, DOHC and SOHC. I am leaning towards building a Ford Probe, it's the only car I have seen run with the DOHC cars and run up front. I was wondering if there were some other cars capable of doing the same.

I run a Probe at I-55 And Ive taken the car out twice and started in the rear 14 th and 15th and the first night I was about to take the lead and I made contact with a car and he spun so I got black flaged and then last weekend I started 15th and finished 4th that is in only 6 laps

i got a 1.9 that WILL OUT RUN THE 2 CAM CARS ! DONT I ROB! SO DONT COUNT OUT THE 1.9 ! MINE RUNS ITS *** OFF ! A ROB MY DOC SAID I CAN IN SEPTEMBER SO GET THAT ANAL PROBE READY! THE JET COMEING BACK! HEY IAM PAINTEN IT LIKE BURWELLS CAR. SURGERY IS SEP 3 IAM RACEN THE NEXT SAT!!!!! OHHHH YEA I GOT A PUNK A*# ESCORT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE YA WONT WANNNNNNA BEEEEEEEE YAAAAAAAA LOLOLOLO:D

Rumor has it They are going to protest my car Sat. nite. Someone thinks Im cheating, I guess I better put the little motor back in LOL:cool:
 
Probes are fast for SOHC cars. I havent seen much that can *legally* run with the dohc cars, but theres no guarantee that the front running dohc cars are strictly legal either, if you get where I am coming from. So, the Probes about your best option, if you want to go anywhere and be competitive. I gave up being competitive, I will just run what I brung and have fun. I'll get serious when I can afford a Bomber car with some goodies on it, til then its all just practice.
 
ROB SORRY I CANT GO FRIDAY THE DR .CALLED AND THEY WANT A CAT SCAN. THEY THINK I HAVE A SLIPED DISC . MY ARM AN SHOLDER KEEPS HURTING ! HEY YOU SEEN MY MOTOR WHAT DO YOU THINK STOCK OR NOT ? ITS A 1.9 WITH A CARB . I 'LL CHOSE STRUTS OVER HORSE POWER ANY DAY ! AND PROBES ARE TO HEAVEY HAVE YOU WEIGHED YOURS ? MY RACE CAR WEIGHS 2.200 WITH ME IN IT !

Jeff sorry to hear about your neck get better, Yes i think your motor looks stock. and I dont know what my car weighs but id say about the same as yours Ill check this weekend

I didnt go to B-Town, and Im selling so I can build a Mini-stock May have it sold already Ill find out tomorrow night are u going to I-55?
 
Rob, I would love to, but we emptied out the racing fund and bought a brand new trailer TODAY! Just my luck, I am sure you will sell it before I get the fund built back up! Is it a 5-speed or an automatic? If you don't mind, I would like to email you for a setup tip or two when I do get my hands on a Probe. Best of luck to you with the RAMS.
