Why does it seem like the last few years dixon has not been able to compete with big name guys like he used to? I really mis him beaning in the mix of things.
 
I've been a Dixon fan since I was 16, and here are a few reasons.

1) He is getting older.

2) Lots of bad luck. (Flats, motors, etc.)

3) Equipment in my mind isn't as good as the big dawgs.

4) It's just his time to pass the torch!

It has been a good career for Fast Eddie, but kind of like Don Kline he will stay around for a long time, win a few races, but will never be the same!....................****s cause I hate to see my all time favorite driver not winning and makes it hard to go watch. Just cause he don't win alot anymore he is still good enough to win track championships!

I talked to Dixon at WV when they went to the big crate race and him and danny told me things have changed they dont run traction control they are jst out there to have fun because they love racing and having fun. The big dawgs do it for a living so there for they have mre money to buy better stuff. But I would lie to see dixon hop in bloomers car or babbs and see what he could do.
 
The guy is still bad azz fast. I cant wait to see him run against the big boys at Belleville for the the SNR. The big boys are on a total different level at the big tracks. I agree with age but passing the torch I dont know about that. Weather you like him or not he still puts on a show were ever he goes.

I hate to agree with you but this is so true ......
 
what is hurting dixon is motor his motors are decent but they are no pro power or dickens or vic hill or custum or cornette but i think the biggest think that is hurting ed and this is jmo he is trying to figure this new car out and there is not a big cushion at alot of these tracks now dixon is still fun as hell to watch and an unbelievable person he will get it figured out trust me cause you can tell he has the drive again and wants to race and win cause heck the other day he drove to pir when we all got rained out so just give him some time he will get it and the traction control thing i dont know about but i am sure there is some that have it as well as some that dont but u either beat it cry about it or get it so we shall see.GO SPECIAL ED.
