Dixon had something happen with the carburetor and had this big fire. Unfortunately it also shut off the engine and locked the rear wheels up and Mark Miner couldn't avoid him and then Dixon also hit the inside wall. He will need a new chassis. They are heading to Rayburn's tomorrow.

Mark did his best to not get into him but both were flyin when this happened. Good luck to the Tiffany Motorsports crew. Hope you get a new ride going soon. Car was fastfastfast

The boys are within an hour of Rayburn's. An official decision on the car will be made once CJ is able to look at it. The motor is being checked at Hovis'. Hopefully they will be back out this weekend.

From the pictures, it doesn't look like Miner got into him that bad. Was there more contact other than in the pictures?

Ed's been looking pretty racy and does a great job getting towards the front. I wish the announcers would quit saying he's racing for a low budget team though. I'm sure Tiffany Motor Sports is putting quite a bit of money into their racing program. Why compare them to the Korte's, etc? JMO

Being friends with the owner I can tell you he is not running a large budget race team. They are working for small sponsorships and scrapping each and every dollar they can. Are they the lowest budget no, but they are not a high budget team. Used car, no toterhome, they are not racing junk, but not much room for fluff. They are not a high powered high budget team.

The boys should have made it home around 2 am this morning. New front clip, straightened the rear and added some more adjustment to the suspension. They plan to be back out Friday if all goes well.

Ill tell you I have not commented on any teams budget , unless they won and said they were adding to it. I would think a team would not mind hearing that as often as possible.
