Lebanon,Mo.-The AllState Insurance DLRA LateModel Association's first season championship will be won or loss at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway's Fall Brawl this weekend.
The 2 day show will feature the first ever crowning of the DLRA LateModel title as only 2 points separates Springfield's Terry Phillips and the fast moving Jesse Stovall with Jeremy Payne holding onto the third spot only 23 points behind while early season leader Brandon McCormick of Lebanon hold down the fourth spot 52 points out of the lead.
Phillips,who was just recently crown the MARS Series champion could pocket a cool $5,000 point fund check by holding off Stovall for the Series title.This will be a standalone event for the DLRA Open LateModels as Series founder Randy Mooneyham expects a god solid field of LateModels."With the top drivers so close in the points and the extra money at the end of the year,the quality of cars will be there as alot of the open cars are ready to tackle the Midway in this 2,000 to win LateModel feature event.
The action starts on Friday night with qualifying heats for the LateModels along with the A-Mods,FactoryStocks,B-Mods,Bombers and an Enduro race to conclude the action on Friday Night.Pole dashes for the Support classes will also be included to help set the starting grid for Saturday's feature events.Friday night gates open at 5 with Racing to start at 8PM sharp.Sat night action will start at 7:30 sharp.
A-Mods will be competing for 1000 to win with 100 to start the feature event.Factorystocks will be racing for 500 to win and 60 to start the feature.B-Mods will battle for 450 to win with 60 to start and Bombers also battle for 450 to win and 60 to start.These payoffs are based on a 15 car Min.field
Admission prices for the grandstands will be 12 on Friday night while Sat night will be 15.Pitpasses will be 30 each night.
