(Warrensburg, MO) Central Missouri Speedway and Wal-Mart in Warrensburg have teamed up for a Race Car Show in the Wal-Mart parking area on Saturday morning, May 17 beginning at 10 until PM. The early season wet weather has been a challenge for local drivers, sponsors and race tracks. CMS owners, Earl and Susan Walls wanted to give drivers a chance to show off their cars and give some support to their sponsors. All local drivers are invited to attend this Saturday. If you plan to show your car, drivers are encouraged to contact Sam Stoecklin at samonthemic@hotmail.com. You can also show up at the parking lot with your car for the show without any notification. Invite your sponsors to come out to take some photos and talk with the fans.

Race fans are in for a double treat this weekend with the local car show in Warrensburg before racing resumes on Saturday night when the Central Missouri Speedway grandstands open at PM for KMMO- Marshall Race Night. Hot laps start at 7 and with racing on the track at 7:30 with the “mighty” modifieds, ULMA late models, street stocks and b-modifieds.

Join Earl Walls and the crew on the CMS Racinboys.com-Kenny’s Tile Internet webcast show every Thursday beginning at PM. Track announcers, Sam Stoecklin and Alan Miller will be on the airways for the weekly KOKO-1450 radio CMS Track Talk show on Wednesday evening at 5:30. You can also hear the CMS Update on KSIS 1050 in Sedalia at 9:30 on Friday mornings for the latest track results and race news.
