Drivers nicknames that TTG started

Mike gave Clay Baumann the nickname "The Milkman". I know I don't race that much myself, but I was always wondered what nickname Mike might come up with for me, especially with my Hooker Harness connection!
 
wow I never thought all these great nicknames came from one man... These names I've heard all over the racing area. He sure made a great name for his self and many great names for several drivers. R.I.P TTG

dont quote me on this, but i believe he started "The Desciple" Dewayne Kiefer and "The Mowequa Missle" Shannon Babb but i could be wrong

When i started racing pevely i told Mike i needed a nickname.....two weeks later i was "The Digger" Derek Shipman. What an honor to have a nickname come from him. He was the best hands down. RIP TTG!
 
He gave my dad, "Revin" Kevin Gundaker!! never forget him announcing the nights with dad and Ed Dixon and every other great driver at Pevely. Loved getting to talk to Mike and didn't get to see him this year but I have known him since I was about 3 and he always wanted to talk to me at the track and I know I will truly miss "The Talker Guy". RIP and Godspeed Mike
