Brand new 3/8ths mile high banked track. Was just reconfigured last year. New seats and main entrance. Will anyone form around here make the trip. We where going to the world but don't know now. There were rumors a couple years ago about this race coming to Tri-City,guess everyone could not come to an agreement. Still great news for the midwest.

That would be the one. The prices are way too high for me. It goes from $51 on thursday to $199 on friday to $299 on saturday. I can stay in town the whole weekend for what they are charging for saturday.

Who is charging 199 saturday night?cant you drive and catch a motel down the highway somewhere?

That is the price the casino is charging per night of the race. Yes I will stay somewhere else. I told the lady that. She said she has had several people tell her that.

They must think the formula one crowd will be there. If I go I will hit the casino but will not be staying there that is for sure.

Nearest reasonable hotels to Lawrenceberg are in Florence, Kentucky.

Lots of hotels at all different rates. Near the Cincinnati International Airport.

About a 15 minute drive to the race track from Florence.

The reconfigured track is bad fast. Saw Indiana Sprint Week shows there last July. Much better than the old Lawrenceberg track.

This will now be a 3 class show. The non wing sprints will also be running a $5,000 to win show. I probably would have checked this race out myself as well, but I will instead be heading to the World 100 for the first time. I must say that as much as I miss the tracks back in Illinois and especially being close to Tri-State Speedway, its great having Eldora as a track that I can get to in under an hour and half now.

The sprints are a deal breaker I will not go to see them.I see the track is a 5 hour drive I would go to eldora indstead of this it is almost the same distance for me.

Non-wing sprints are on the card to draw locals. Indiana is not a late model state at all. They put on a really good show and in my experience put on a much better show than winged sprints.

The modifieds are also running a $3,000 to win show as well. Three classes, three nights for only $40. Cant't really beat it.

The track owner is going to really be invested in doing ALOT of track prep.

But, if it's a good show, can you really find a better value for your $40?
