DuQuoin '100'

Anyone know if this year's USAC Labor Day Sunday race at DuQuoin will be an actual '100' or 'twin 50's' like it was last year? I'm suspecting another twin-50's, since the USAC write up about the Springfield race mentions a 'mid-race pause'. Anyone else dislike the 'twin 50's' format?

Doesnt bother me, kinda interesting to see the strategy of who changes tires or not.

There will be a fuel stop at halfway. Any car that elects to change the right rear tire will restart at the back. At Springfield, only 2 cars changed right rears.

I was against it at first, but kind of like it now...it's cool to watch the teams work and decisions being made

Don't like it, set your car up for the 100 laps and run it. I don't see it making much of a difference, from the tires I saw after the race on Saturday most could have run another 50 laps. Don't see anyone taking the chance of changing a tire and moving back 20 spots. Not enough time to make it back to front.

Wasn't a USAC decision. This was a promoter decision...
