dwarf cars ?

can you guys answer a question for me? I am trying to figure out why some of you guys will drive all the way to Poplar Bluff and race but you won't go to DRR they are not on the same night and if you guys dont start supporting DRR i would not be suprised that your class gets dropped and i dont want to here because he does not pay enough money because it costs more to go to Poplar Bluff

Dwarf

Actually it doesnt cost more! Lets see its 20 bucks to get in the pits down there. The pay out is better so it is worth the drive. I dont know what you are talking about dropping the class anyways there are 10 or 12 cars there every fri, yes there could be more but i mean look at the other classes. I am sure alot of people would not be happy with the dwarf cars being dropped either and i am sure that wouldnt help out the track!

re

Poplarbluff is a $20 pit pass, they pay $300 to win $175 for 2nd, $150 for 3rd. $400 to win if there is $20 cars. DRR pays 150 to win and you pay a $25 pit pass. DRR throws the black flag for no reason, and most of the time does not black flag the people that actually deserve it. Track is to small to many cautions and not enough laps. Poplarbluff is a big track, there are less cautions, more cars, better racing, much better payout, and every driver is treated the same. Just my opinion but i know of others that feel the same.

re

i would be willing to say that if the pay went up the car count would go back up. Also if the car count is up with better pay that means more money coming into the pits.

gas prices ???

why hasnt anyone taken the outragouse gas prices into consideration... i know it cost at least twice as much if not more to drive to bluff.... and about the black flag for no reason... john you came to DRR ONE TIME this year and if i recall right u won... so i dont know what you are talkin about :S ... if you were there the last week we ran you would have been proud of the decision making .... there was a good call made by the scoring judges .... ask me some time about it and i will go into detail with you.... but there hasnt been any bad driving out there ..... (with the exception of a few instances) but ya know cars get away from ya every once in a whiel and u cant help but get into someone.... sh*t happens....... i just wish one week all u bluff guys would come down to DRR (this week would be a good one TWO NIGHT SHOW) i bet if we all got together we could get bobby to raise the payout if there was X amount of cars ..... just an idea

why not

why not race both tracks.. bluff is sure to just spread out the cars and make it a motor situation and you dont even have to drive the car as much... doe run actually takes some what of a talent to run or to make skill.. cautions are part of every race sometimes you have alot sometime you have none. either way if you are good enough to win cautions or no cautions you should win.. although the pay does sound pretty good and its cheaper to get in..so it can be seen both ways

i run poplar bluff becuz you dont tear half as much stuff up down there as you do at doerun. They dont have favirote drivers down there is some one hits u they go 2 the back not u unlike doerun( i have the tape to prove you do at doerun) every driver is treated the same they have no babies or favirotes down there. they pay out point money for the top 10, not a hoodie and a trophy,a lot nicer place 2 run, they dont make bad calls and if they do they will come 2 you after the race and tell you they are sorry and give you free pit passes for the next week, they dont throw the black flag when not needed.bigger track 2 pass on very few cautions, not as many break downs down there. you get a top 5 and still get as much money as doerun for winning, and now for ther gas prices its not gonna cost any more money 2 fill the truck all the 2 go 2 doerun than it is to go 2 poplar bluff.there is a lot more car and a lot more fun at poplar bluff and about 3 times as fast a you go at doerun. not the same person winning every week.and a average of 18 cars a week.better pit area and grand stands for the pits more room for everyone to watch the races instead of being crammed together.now if bobby would pay the dwarfs as much as he does the multis he might be able 2 get some cars back but i have heard a bunch of people say they wasnt goin back becuz of al the unfair calls that are made. if bobby would stop having his favirotes and watch everycar out there instead of just one or 2 he could have some more cars.he never sees what happens 2 you but he always sees what you do 2 anyone else even if it is a accident.now for the class bein dropped malden already wants 2 pick the dwarfs up everyfirday night and they are gonna pay the same as poplar bluff. if anyone has anything 2 say 2 me send me a private message
Thanks Jeff

Wooo

hey,

I have watched the dwarfs at doe run this year a lot and i dont think that they have any favorite drivers. the calls have been very fair. The black flag has been used in the right time and they have used it well. it is easy to tell if a driver means to hits someone or if it is just racing. And the doe run officals have done a good job judging. I dont know about Bluff casue i have not been there but i know doe run has been a pretty good track to race at.

cya:)

you keep thinkin they are doin a good job judging and keep running doerun and i will keep thinking what i do and keep running poplar bluff and making twice the money you are at doerun and yes they have favirote drivers.

i dont even race dwarf cars

hey,

I dont even race dwarfs cars i race go-karts but what i see setting in the crowd is that they are makin good calls and they are the right ones.

i agree barks boy bobbys track is lil and if u dont like it to bad **** it up it is the only track around here that i know of that is this lil and has that many ppl come and watch and get the complanet then do so all of u can stop bashing bobby and his track. if u guys are going to be like that then dont come it will be fun to have ppl there that dont care about money that is not what racing is about it is FUN and if u cant get that then we dont want u there

agree

I agree with jessy and barks boy. From what i have seen the calls are fair. If u hit someone intintinaly then you pay for it. If you dont hit ppl than you wont tear up your car. Bobby runs a good track. You should be racing for the fun of it not for the money. I dont care what track anyone runs but you are never going to make as much money that you put into your car. So jeffrey say what you want but one night you were there i remember you constantly beating on the other cars so you deserved to get black flagged. And I dont think there is any favortism at DRR.

no favorites

I have kept my mouth shut, but know it has to come out. We have been racing at doe run since Bobby has let us. It is a very nice track and we enjoy it. Also it is close to home and very convenient. We have nothing against Bobby so none of this is directed at him. There have been a lot of bad calls this year. The track does have its favorites. Some people get away with some things and others don't. They need to treat everyone the same. A lot of people have quit coming to doe run because of this. When there is a red light no one is to get out of their cars(yes that means no one) if they do they know the consequences. Vince got out of his car and was black flagged. Billy got out if his car to check on his son. I would do the same thing if it were Vince and i would know that I would be black flagged. Now if it happens and I get black flagged it is wrong. Also the call that Billy is talking about that was a good call, if he is referring to when Mike got black flagged maybe you better buy a video and watch it. Just like last night when Billy hit Dom he should have been thrown out. We don't come to the races to fight, we come to have a good time. The last couple weeks have been ridiculous. Beating(literally) on cars is wrong. That dad should have been kicked out also. We enjoy racing at doe run, but lately it has been getting out of hand.

I'm not a point racer, and I'm not in it for the money. I come to the track on Friday night to have a good time and do something more constructive than what alot of people do on the weekends.
As everyone knows, my car may or may not run very good-it depends on how much time I put into it during the week, and how much cashflow I have to do it. It doesn't usually matter to me, because if it doesn't run I end up working with Dad on the pushtruck. "Why?" you may ask. Simple, read the paragraph above. I do it for the fun. I wouldn't care if the Bluff paid ten times what DRR pays, it wouldn't pull me down there every week. And I darn sure wouldn't pull to Malden AND the Bluff every week. I don't have enough blood in my body to feed the mosquito's down there.
If you're in it for the money, go ahead and hit those other tracks. If you think racing is about driving 100+ MPH then enjoy yourself on those bigger tracks. I wish you well. When DRR car count is free of all the guys who are worried about driving over each other to get a few more dollars and rid of all the guys who can't drive around a small track without doing the same, and rid of the owners who have to have the best equipment that money can buy........there will still be those of us who do it for the fun and are satisfied in a few less dollars to race close to home every week. Hell, who knows THAT IN ITSELF MAY BRING MORE CARS TO THE TRACK. See ya all around, good luck.

Richie. It depends on where they live as to how much it costs them to travel. There have been bad calls made, I have seen certain cars drive over others and not get flagged. I have seen lesser offenses get DQ'd. I think that Jeffrey probably got a bad call, he WAS driving aggressively when he got into Dave. HOWEVER, you had to drive aggressively to get around the track that night and he made one heck of a charge from the back before it happened. That was a bad night all around. Vince got DQ'd for fixing his car on the red and Beard continued after fighting with officials and exiting his car. Under the circumstances that night, I don't feel that anyone should have been DQ'd because it was a trecherous night due to the track conditions.
Money certainly plays a part in it. Guys are tired of being handed a little money for putting on the show. When you have a ten thousand dollar car to pay for, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. There are alot of cars capable of winning each night, so they go where the money is.
There is also the fact that the multis DO get paid alot more, when they really aren't that many more of them than there are dwarfs. If DRR paid the dwarfs what the multis get, the car count would reflect it. When you can make more money, it ain't so bad running a small track and taking a chance of tearing up equipment.

To summarize my book here.......more money and less BS with the calls will bring in more cars. More cars will pay the extra money.

re

yea dave got sideways right in front of jeffrey, jeffrey did all he could to miss him, he made a hard right turn and clipped his left rear quarter panel when he could of just went straight and t-boned him and took him out, and then maybe he should have got put to the back. dave should of went to the back for spinning out. and jeffrey should of had the lead. actually the race should of been over cuz the while flag was out and he waved the checkered then took it back and you cant do that. but oviously they did not want jeffrey to win!
