Jacksonville, FL (September 14, 2005)- The Lucas Oil Dunn-Benson Ford
Motorsports team and driver Earl Pearson Jr. are actively preparing for
this weekends Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at Pittsburgh's
Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, PA this coming weekend. The
17th Annual "Pittsburgher 100" paying $22,000 to the winner will take
place Saturday and Sunday September 17-18th. ESPN2 camera will be on hand
for event to broadcast the race later in the year. Earl heads into this
weekend’s event just 110 points behind Don O’Neal for the chase for the
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Championship.

Earl is coming off a disappointing racing weekend from Eldora
Speedway’s World 100. After qualifying 19th out of 217 cars entered Earl was set
start 4th in the first heat race. Earl was confident with his car and
felt like he had a good shot at making the starting field. At the drop
of the green Earl was advancing into second place at the flag stand when
Jimmy Owens made contact with Earl sending Earl into the wall causing
suspension damage and ending his night. “It was real disappointing to
not even make one lap in the heat race. I really felt like we had a real
car to get into the feature, unfortunately Owens wrecked us plain and
simple”, stated Earl from his home in Jacksonville.

Earl and WD Enterprises put together an America Red Cross fundraiser at
Eldora Speedway over the weekend in association with the World 100 and
had a tremendous response from drivers, manufactures and fans. “I want
to thank everyone that donated to the fundraiser. The response was far
better than we ever thought it would be and once we get all the monies
counted that is still coming in, people will be surprised on what the
dirt late model industry has donated. The fundraiser was a huge success
and I have to thank Sunoco for all their help and allowing us to be a
part of their booth at the trade show”, stated Earl. Earl will continue
to donate 10% of his merchandise sales to the American Red Cross from
any orders from his merchandise website through November 30, 2005.

Earl and the Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports team would like to thank all
