Looking for info on a project motor!

Looking to build a 370 ci sbc!

Here's what I dont understand,

there is no info anywhere except I found a site that sells the rotating assembly!

Need to build a strong high rpm 7500-8000 max.

I have a fresh block just out of machine shop 2 bolt main early 70's nickel block
looking at a 3.625 forged crank, 6" hbeam rods with som je dome pistons at +13 cc
looking to put a 600+ lift cam roller or flat!

Dart iron eagle heads 200-215cc intake runners w64cc chambers 2.02i/1.6e valves
runnging on a willies two barrel 500 cfm+ carb(rules)
mounted on a victor Jr two barrel intake!

Schoenfield headers.

Looking for imput on this build!!
Never heard of it and looking to do something different than other racers!

Also looking for a compatible hp/trq rating on this build!

Thanks in advance...

To build a 370, you would need a standard bore 400 block and a 3.500 crank shaft. The parts your describing sound more like a 380 depending on your block. If your building a 2 barrel motor call Fessler engines in Troy, Mo. he can help you.

By my calculations, a .030 over 350 block with that 3.625 stroke crankshaft that he has already found also comes up to 370c.i. Or maybe I could just be mathmatically challenged.

No ur math is dead on

A four 400 block with a 3.48 cast or 3.50 forged is a 377@.030 over

a 370 is a 350 block with a longer stroke @ 3.625 @.030 over

not wanting to build a motor Luke the other guys I like to b different and don't want the clearance issues of a 383

thanks for ur comment any more would b appreciated

Your gonna have to cut the heads down to get more compression to turn that RPM with a 2 bbl. But the bad part is the 2 bolt block is only good for about 400 HP.

Block

My bad is a 4 bolt block.

And I have a 377 sbc at 12:1 compression

it has no problem turning 7500rpms
with a two barrel stock holly 4412
sitting on a victor intake at 64cc heads!

Not sure I understand!
The domes we r using will be 13.6 on 64cc heads
and 15:1 on 58cc heads

this motor is going to be a test and tune job

With that cid i'd put about 15:1 in it and turn it 7800, 215 runner head with full porting 2.055/1.6 valves , super victor intake fully ported with 1 inch spacer and 1 inch adapter. That should put you in at 450-470 HP
