Everybody lighten up! I'm thankful for...

I'm just drawn that way..
Since there's a lot of negativity being thrown around on the board, I'd like to take a minute and remember what I'm happy about in my life. Considering this is Thanksgiving week, let's just go with an "I'm thankful for..." thread.

I'm thankful for:

my loving family and friends who support me
my racing family
my job and roof over my head
that i can do and say what i want
for those who have fought so that I may have those rights

and last but definately not least - that Jesus is in my life


This is just a start - just something to scratch the surface and get everyone started.

You are right racewidow tooo much bashing going on, I am thankful for my kids, and grandbabby, also thankful for my freedom to do what ever I want to God bless ALL you vets and the troops that serve our country for my freedom, my mom is slowley passing away she has been sick for years so this will be the last of the holidays we will spend together, people need to stop and just look around take time to say hi to someone not bash them sperad a little peace and kindness to oneanother.. God Bless u all have a safe holiday.
 
I would like to agree with the above two posts, but to add that I am thankful for the offseason (even if just a little bit) so that we all remember just how much fun racing really is. :) :)
With that said, is it March yet??

I'm also thankful that we live in a country where:
* we can worship at the church of our choice and thank God for our blessings
* we have our freedom (at the price of so many others who gave the ultimate sacrifice)
* we can choose our jobs
* we have some of the best healthcare anywhere
* we have free speech (which does often cause controversy)

I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, my children and the rest of our family

and

last but not least, I'm thankful for the fact that in addition to the rest of our friends, we have a wonderful race family on this board that supports others when they're in need :cool:

I hope everyone has a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I think I speak on behalf of everyone else when I say a heart-felt THANK YOU to Jimmy D for all he and Ranee do to keep the racing community informed :D
 
Thankful !!!!

I am Thankful for my family that I don't understand me :eek: J/K
I am Thankful for our friends. ;)
I am Thankful for the roof over our heads ( even though it leaks just a wee bit) :rolleyes:
I am Thankful for the food on our table (even though I might as well slap it on my hips) :mad:
And I am Thankful to say and do what I want as I PLEASE because I can. :D And to the people that made/make it possible every day of my life. ;)

And I am mostly Thankful for the Apple God dropped next to this ole' tree. Hailey is the best blessing in my whole life and I Thank the Dear Lord every day for her.... :D

I must say 'ditto' to everything that has been said, but I add this:

*last year at this time, I was not able to walk or use my left arm. This year I can. I am very thankful for the police officers, firefighters, and medical personnel who work hard everyday to protect and take care of all of us.
 
I'm thankful for;
Everyday that I've lived so far, (time passes quickly)
Family (that includes the dogs) & friends
Becoming a racing addict

firemen and the guys in my classes in school (YUMMY)

** im thankful to all the people who stood by me in the past few months

** im thankful to race boards where i can voice my thoughts and not look stupid :)
