Names like Wallace and Schrader are synonymous with short track racing in the Midwest. Kenny Schrader, along with the Wallace brothers, Rusty, Mike, and Kenny, grew up watching local short track heroes such as Russ Wallace win races at Lakehill Speedway in Valley Park, Missouri. Eventually Schrader and the Wallace's would also grow up to race at Lakehill Speedway before going on to compete in the top ranks of NASCAR.

The land that Lakehill Speedway is on has never been developed because it is landlocked between two railroad tracks. For the past 30 years, the track has been preserved underwater. In an attempt to recapture the glory days of the track that helped to produce some of racings biggest stars, the water has been pumped out and the concession and grandstands have been rebuilt for a one day event.

Don't miss your chance to go back in time for one day. Come say farewell to Lakehill Speedway with NASCAR Driver Kenny Wallace, his father Russ Wallace, and other past champions on Saturday, November 24th, 2007 from 10:00am until dark. Kenny, Russ, and the other past champions will take the final laps around Lakehill Speedway. Bring your memories and collectables to share with other Lakehill Speedway fans.
