The new promoters at Farmer City Raceway have announced they will be holding an informational meeting for all interested racers, fans, sponsors with questions about the upcoming season. The meeting will be held Sunday February 6 at 1:00 at the American Legion building on the fairgrounds. TruSpeed Inc., consisting of Don Hammer, Kevin Hammer and Bonny Hammer are the promoters and are looking forward to the first year of promoting races at the historic fairgrounds raceway. A tentative practice date is set for Sunday April 3 at noon. The regular season will start on Friday night, April 8. The UMP Summernationals have been scheduled for Friday, July 1. The regular weekly show will include UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Sportsmen, Street Stocks and twice a month will include Hornets. A complete schedule will be posted as soon as further dates are finalized.
