Thirty six late models and 29 modifieds came to Farmer City Raceway Friday night. With a new 11:30 curfew put in place by the city, the modifieds no longer qualify, they now use a draw and passing points system. The late models were the first cars on the track with time trials and Roger Long turned in fast time at 13.080 seconds. Late model heat races went to Richie Hedrick over Kevin Weaver, Brian Shirley and Roger Long in a fierce battle that saw three wide racing all around the track. The second heat went to Steve Sheppard Jr over Ryan Dauber, Russ Sheffler and Joe Harlan. Heat number three had last weeks feature winner Matt Taylor winning over Jason Feger, Daren Friedman and Eric Smith. The final heat went to Dennis Erb Jr over Joe Ross Jr, Donnie Walden and Chris Dick. Semis went to Jr Shickel over Ryan Unzicker and Mike Mullvain over Terry Babb. Richie Hedrick led the first lap of the feature, but gave up the lead to Steve Sheppard Jr at the flagstand and the first few laps were side by side until Sheppard pulled out a bit by himself. Hedrick kept him in sight, however he had to battle the entire race for second side by side with Matt Taylor, Kevin Weaver and Brian Shirley. On the last lap, with Sheppard leading, his car broke and Hedrick blew past him, but Sheppard kept going, ending up hitting the turn three wall, finishing sixth. the final rundown was Hedrick with the win, second went to Matt Taylor, followed by ninth place starter Brian Shirley, Kevin Weaver, Dennis Erb Jr, Sheppard Jr, Ryan Dauber, Jason Feger, Daren Friedman, and Russ Sheffler rounding out the top ten. After them was Joe Ross Jr, Jr Shickel, Eric Smith, Roger Long, Joe Harlan, Donnie Walden, Mike Mullvain and Ryan Unzicker. 18 of the twenty starters finished and were all on the lead lap.

The street stock feature went to Lenny Summer in a wild race over Chris Tackett.

Wes O'Dell won the sportsman feature, with second place three wide finish with Nick Macklin, Rich Thomas and Greg Kimmons putting on a show for the fans.

In the modifieds, heat wins went to Dave Porth, Nick Neville and Rick Hamilton. Although the new passing points system was/is kinda confusing for the fans, the promoters have the system down, as soon as heat races ended, the top 6 in passing points were announced, and within a few minutes after the last heat, they announced the starting lineup for the feature. This system really seemed to work well, jumbling up the starting field a bit. Scott Bull led the entire distance with twelfth place starter Jeff Leka putting on the show taking the runner up spot over Wenger, Jerry Huffman, Gary Cook Jr, Roben Huffman, Dave Porth, Randy Huffman and Nick Neville.
All races were finished before 11:00 pm.
