Thirty Three late model drivers showed up at Farmer City for the $3000 to win, $200 to start 30 lap feature. Extra money was put up by some area fans and sponsors as a way of thanking the drivers who put on such a great show last week. Brian Shirley came home the victor, making him the fifth different winner in five races for the season. Behind Shirley, way behind, was Billy Drake, points leader Eric Smith, Kevin Weaver and Matt Taylor. Fast time went to Eric Smith at 13.19 seconds. Heats were all three groove affairs with the first heat going to Smith over Joe Harlan, Wes Steidinger and Patrick Sheltra. Second heat went to Brian Shirley over Billy Drake, Mike Mullvain and Jay Sparks. The final heat went to Ryan Dauber over Kevin Weaver, Jr Shickel and Matt Taylor. The semi feature went to Richie Hedrick over Shannon Reed, RJ Gall and Chris Dick.

Forty three drivers showed up for the modified class for and advertised $750 to win, extra money again put up by local fans and sponsors, but that amount quickly grew to be $1000 to win show, and a great show it was. Heats went to Denny Schwartz, Matt Goulden, Scott Bull and Jeff Leka. All four heats were three wide races. The semis went to Don Kiger over Nick Neville and Roben Huffman, with the second semi going to Ken Miracle over Bill Gianetti and Kyle Byerline. The feature went to Denny Schwartz, with Jeff Leka on his tail the entire twenty laps. The pair were followed to the checkers by Scott Bull, #41 Mullins?, Lance Dehm and Jim Leka.
