Twenty four drivers came to do battle Friday night, and battle they did. Mike Mullvain fired the first shot with fast time at 13.352, then winning his heat race over Richie Hedrick and Jr Shickel. Second heat went to Eric Smith over Steve Sheppard Jr and Tim O'Donnell. The third heat went to Jason Feger over Donnie Walden and Gary May. The semi feature went to Snooky Dehm over Bruce White.
The feature started with Mike Mullvain on the point but Richie Hedrick was past him by the second lap. Hedrick had things going his way until lap 18 when Steve Sheppard Jr caught him and then the real battle began. The duo would swap the lead, and a fair amount of paint at least once every lap until the white flag lap. Sheppard had taken the white flag in front, then got turned around in turn one. Hedrick was told to go the rear, while Sheppard got his lead position back. Hedrick then left the track, the race restarted and Sheppard Jr won the feature with high flying Jason Feger passing Jr Shickel off turn four to end up second.

The street stock feature had $500 going to the winner, sponsored by Jim Quinn Towing. Heats went to Brett Lessen over Jim Quinn, Jeff Byers over Steve Brandt Sr, and Chris Dick. Jeremy Nichols won the semi feature. Brett Lessen won the feature, with Jeremy Nichols using the high side to finish second, with Chris Dick, Jimmy Smith and Terry Miller rounding out the top five.
The sportsman also put on quite a show, with Greg Kimmons and Brian Dennio winning heats. The feature went to Mike Petersak over Kimmons and Dennio.
The modified class saw Lance Dehm set a new track record in time trials at 14.473 seconds.
