Roger Long proved once again that he is the master of the high groove Friday night. The evening started out with Long turning in fast time of 13.200 over the 32 other drivers in attendance. Justin Allgaier then won the trophy dash over Eric Kwasigroh and Long. Heats went to Steve Sheppard Jr over Lonnie Franklin Jr, Mark Anderson over Chris Dick and Joe Ross Jr over Gary May. Long, by virtue of the draw, started outside front row of the feature and took off to a commanding leave.
