Thirty two late models took time trials for the 30 lap, $2000 to win feature Friday night. With a total of 184 cars on hand in five classes, it was going to be a very long night. Dennis Erb Jr turned in fast time, won his heat and won his feature. The first heat went to Erb Jr, chased by Kevin Weaver, Joe Harlan and Richie Hedrick. The second heat went to Eric Smith over Steve Sheppard Jr, Darren Friedman and Jimmy Felker Jr. The third heat was a barn burner with Jason Feger finally winning out over Billy Drake, Wes Steidinger and Joe Ross Jr. The fourth heat went to Mark Anderson over Roger Long who passed both Chris Dick and Jr Shickel on the final lap. The semi feature went to Frank Heckenast Jr over Kyle Logue and Mike Mullvain. By feature time the track was rubbered from top to bottom with passing at a premium. Erb led all 30 laps with Kevin Weaver, Eric Smith, Steve Sheppard Jr and Mark Anderson.

unofficial finish: Dennis Erb Jr, Kevin Weaver, Eric Smith, Steve Sheppard Jr, Mark Anderson, Joe Harlan, Jason Feger, Chris Dick, Wes Steidinger, Darren Friedman all on the lead lep. One lap down was Jimmy Felker Jr, Shane Allen, Frank Heckenast Jr and Mike Mullvain. DNF was Joe Ross Jr, Richie Hedrick, Roger Long, Jr Shickel, Kyle Logue and Billy Drake.

Fifty modifieds were on hand for the 25 lap, $1000 to win feature with Nick Neville turning in fast time. Heats went Nick Neville, Kyle Byerline, Jay Ledford, Scott Bull, Jeff Leka, and Denny Schwartz. The semis went to Cory Schwengel and Lance Dehm. The exciting feature saw Denny Schwartz jump to an early lead, with Leka, Byerline Bachman, Bull and Wenger fighting it out for second place. With six laps to go, Scott Bull passed Schwartz and went on to win his first Farmer City feature. He was followed to the checkers by Matt Bachman, McKay Wenger, Jeff Leka, Matt Goulden, Lance Dehm, Marty Hiser, Jerry Huffman, Aaron Burcham, Jay Ledford and Nick Neville. Schwartz and Byerline were still in the running for second at the white flag, but wrecked on the final turn and neither finished the race.

Street stock heats went to Brett Lessen, Jeff Myers, and Jimmy Smith with Lenny Summers taking the semi feature.

Sportsman heats went to Richard Peddycoart over BJ Richardson and to Mike Petersak over Scotty Dehm. The feature went to Mike Petersak for his third feature in a row over BJ Richardson and Scotty Dehm.
