Farmington

Friday night Joey Montgomery, JoeB Miller and Jimmy Bridgeman. 32 cars. I didn't go back for Saturday night. But the finish was Joey Montgomery, Joey Boyd , Joe B Miller. I heard the car count dropped to 24. I as many others would like to know what happened with the dash line up on Friday. The posted format was to be the top two finishers from each heat. But it looked like they took the top 8 qualifiers instead. Some of the guys in the top two spots from the heats were not in the dash. The car that got the pole from the dash finished 3rd in his heat and should not have been in the dash and should have started 9th in the A main base on the posted race format. That car went on to lead every lap of the A main. If the format was changed it would have been good to communicate it. Lot of confused fans.

In my opinion, promoter gets an A for effort this year, but the days of the Queens being an non sanctioned race needs to end. Make it a MOWA or NSL race

Mr. Jeff Watson aka dirt in my beer, you are correct about the published format. It said the top two out of the heats transfer (meaning if qualifying, the top two time qualifiers out of the heats, as long as they were in P4 or better). Had we not finished in P4 or better then the next highest qualifier in that heat would have gotten the position, if he had been in the top 4, no matter if he won the heat or not. We were inverted on our time for the heat lineups. Why waste everyone's time qualifying all the cars if you are not going to reward or are going to punish the fastest qualifiers? The dash is for the top 6 or 8 fastest cars when there are time trials. The track owners realized that it would be utter nonsense to punish the fastest qualifiers. If the car that you help sponsor along a little had been the fastest qualifier and he had not been in the top two of the heat for whatever reason, I'm sure that you would have felt differently. I'm sorry that you didn't care for the finish, but when you earn that #1 spot, then you most certainly deserve it. I will agree that it was all a bit confusing and we didn't even know we were in the dash until they told us, but we thought that it would be absurd for us not to be, since we were indeed the fast qualifier. Don't hate the player sir, hate the game.

Sorry Mr. Joe Reddick, you have mistaken me for someone else. Know your facts before you call someone out on here. I know what the advertised format was because I helped put it together. Why it wasn't used I am not sure. Congrats to you and the Montgomery's on your sweep, you earned it. I had no complaints about the racing either night. From this point forward if you want to make accusations about me, pick up the phone and call me, I am not hard to find. Dirt in my beer is actually just a huge sprint fan, I have met him before. Jeff Watson

You have the wrong guy. I don't know Jeff. I have no beef with the 12x. It's a given that it is the fastest car there most nights, The format specifically said position 1 and 2 finishers from the heats. I guess we just disagree on what that means.

Jeff if I am wrong I am big enough to apologize for being wrong, so sorry for the mistaken identity. You both need to get your stories straight though. You say you've met him and he says he doesn't know you. Any who, the biggest problem in sprint car racing today is the know it all race fan that sits their butt in the bleachers every week and then tries to make or makes decisions that involve the race cars. Leave running the show for the owners/promoters and the people that actually own the cars putting on the show every night. Knoxville or NSL rules would be great if we also got paid the Knoxville or NSL purses. Oh and it is Mrs. Reddick and this is the only time we have ever posted anything on here good or bad but there is only so much fussing and griping and should have done it this ways, that car owners who are putting on the show for the fans can listen to without being heard. There are always fans with opinions that have no idea what it takes to run a race car and just can see the fan point of view or there are the wanna be promoters that have all the good ideas that they have seen at different tracks. This is Farmington and not Knoxville. Why don't we concentrate on what would be best for Farmingtonand the RACERS at Farmington? Once again I apologize for the mistaken identity.

Keith, you know Jeff, met him a few times when we was at Pevely and of course Farmington.

Over the last 25 years I'd estimate that I have attended 80% of the weekly shows. I have defended and spoke highly of the track. I probably have the right to whine once. Again it was not an attack on the 12x. I have historically called BS on on the pill draw cheating comments directed at the 12x. I simply asked why the format wasn't followed since it had an effect on the race. As a paying fan I have certain expectations when coming through the gate. Someone from the track posted on the track Facebook that the posted format wasn't followed. That was later removed. You should not be so quick to discount the fans opinions. As well you have to wonder was so many cars didn't return to race the second night for the larger purse.

I see you there a lot dirt in my beer.Sit underneath announcers I think.I'm sure the track appreciates you.None of the above was from any track personnel.

I'm so glad my raceing carrier ended before message boards started, but when we did hear of some dumbass running their mouth we had a cure for that
