The Fastrak Series is very proud to announce the $500,000.00 weekend for the 2006 Nationals. (Late Models)

Three day shoot out for the National Championship at a centrally located track(later to be announced)

Qualify simply by attending at least 51% of the races at your local Fastrak "weekly sanctioned" track.

Qualify by attending at least 51% of the Touring Races.

Gain additional "loyalty points" at your local track or touring series.

You can only get points at your local weekly sanctioned track or Touring Series. You cannot gain points by racing at multiple tracks during the week. (This should stop the cherry picking and not allow the team that can afford to travel everywhere to gain an unfair advantage on other teams).

3 ways to get points. Weekly or Touring or Alternate

State Championships-Regional Touring Championships-National Championship.

You only have to travel one time during the year to go to the National Championship. This will be the only true National Championship in the country where you actually race for it.

National Points:

$ 50,000.00 $ 20,000.00 $ 10,000.00 $ 9,000.00 $ 8,000.00 $ 7,000.00 $ 6,000.00 $ 5,000.00 $ 4,500.00 $ 4,000.00 $ 3,500.00 $ 3,000.00 $ 2,500.00 $ 2,000.00 $ 1,900.00 $ 1,800.00 $ 1,700.00 $ 1,600.00 $ 1,500.00 $ 1,400.00 $ 1,300.00 $ 1,200.00 $ 1,100.00 $ 1,000.00 $ 900.00 $ 900.00 $ 900.00 $ 900.00 $ 900.00 $ 900.00 $ 800.00 $ 800.00 $ 800.00 $ 800.00 $ 700.00 $ 700.00 $ 700.00 $ 700.00 $ 700.00 $ 700.00 $ 600.00 $ 600.00 $ 600.00 $ 600.00 $ 500.00 $ 500.00 $ 500.00 $ 500.00 $ 500.00 $ 500.00

Night 3- $3000.00 to win $300 to start

Not to mention there is a BIG SURPRISE coming as well.(I'll hold this one back for now!)

Drawings for free crate engines for all participants that attempt to qualify. Hey you may not make the show and still win a $5000.00 engine.

Plus Chassis, tires, wheels and many other contingencies.

Its up to you teams, drivers and fans. Let your track know you want to be Fastrak "weekly sanctioned".

Membership fee only $95.00!!!!!

CHAMPIONSHIP IS FASTRAK MEMBERS ONLY. NO BIG DOGS TO COME IN AND TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Question?

So this is for the LM class only? What is the deal with the mod. class? Many were wanting to hear the new modified deal(will it be a touring series?).

Do you get anything if you finish in the top 5 in points at a local track or touring series and do not goto the three day race weekend?

I do applaud you on putting together a good payout there for your race weekend.

You can tell its late. I should have put that in there. Yes this is the late models.

I am still working on the modifieds. It will be done soon. We are doing some testing with the engines in the next couple of weeks before we make announcements.

The goal is to make the Nationals. The track champonships will be left up the the tracks. We are providing a way from them to do that if they choose too.

We will take care of the State and Regional and National.

The track we will rcae at is pretty darned close to you. Thats all I can say for now. Sorry.

Thanks I and will get you answers on the Mods asap. I know you guys need to know. i would rather take a couple of more weeks and get it right the first time after we do a little testing.

Oh, and my understanding was that you qualify for the Nationals by attending 51% of your local weekly sanctioned races OR 51% of the regional touring series races.

You do not have to do both, in fact, you do only one OR the other to qualify for the $50,000 to win National Championship weekend.

I hope that is correct? :)

Thats is correct.

Touring or weekly. Both points are kept seperate.

Also alternate points so the weekly racer that wants to come and run a Touring race will not lose any points by being there.

Thanks for that clarification.

This is weekly racing, a touring series, and a National Championship all rolled into one, and all you have to do is run half the season to join in on the fun. Three nights of racing, one Champion walks away with $50,000, and the guy who finishes 50th will still walk away with $500. All with an engine that can cost as little as $3000.

I'm very interested to see how many racers out there want to race for a Championship points fund of $250,000 with an engine that cost $5000 or less. Very interested indeed.

It's premature to discuss the 2006 racing season, when the 2005 season is still undecided. and no champion has been decided; much less a date set for the season ending banquet.
RACERS BEWARE!! THE BUGGY HAS GOTTEN IN FRONT OF THE HORSE!

points

Ok, I have a dumb question on your national points. Let us say you run all year and get 6th place at the local track. How many points do you have going into the championship weekend over a guy that just ran his 51% at a local track? Does it depend on your total points you accumulate at your local track or not?

I guess I am just not understanding the points system and it has not been explained for 2006?????????????

Found It

1 point for 6th and 2 additional "loyalty" points if you ran all the races there. Hope that helps.
