The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance returns to action with the 5th Annual East Coast Rumble at Princeton Speedway and Tyler County Speedway following a thrilling “Prelude to the World Championship” at Virginia Motor Speedway last weekend. The three-race mini-series will kick off at Princeton Speedway on Friday August 30th with a $2,000 to win 40-lap feature. The FASTRAK Racing Series then heads north to “America’s Baddest Bullring”, Tyler County Speedway, for a Saturday-Sunday doubleheader, both paying $2,000 to win.
Defending FASTRAK World Champion, Logan Roberson, took the lead on lap 37 of the “Prelude to the World Championship”, clinching his first FASTRAK Racing Series win of 2019. Current points leader Carson Ferguson came home second with Corey Almond, Justin Williams, and Walker Arthur rounding out the top five.
FASTRAK Racing Series competitors will be battling for their share of over $30,000 in purse money over Labor Day Weekend. The driver who collects the most points through the three races will be named the FASTRAK East Coast Rumble Champion and presented with the Championship Belt. Last season, Carson Ferguson was the FASTRAK East Coast Rumble Champion.
